So here I am, bored out of my mind, breaking the rules. Daring, eh? My step dad told me clearly, "Your brother's room is banned." And yet I am sitting in his brand new leather chair. Yum.
See, we're sharing the house with his cousin and family. SMALL CHILDREN. I've never been a fan of them, and they all seem to be scared of me or something. Sometimes they'll come up to me and ask me something. Like once, this little girl came up to me and said,
"What are you doing?"
"Drawing," I replied, trying to smile. I wasn't haven't fun that night. Family get-together.
"What are you drawing?" she asked, standing on her tippy toes to see.
"A model." Then she looked at me funny and walked away.
So, we're even. I seem to be some plague to them and they run away screaming -- I'm serious about that. The little girl did it today -- but they're the plague to me, too. I'll just lock myself in my room until they're gone, and when they leave the house to go look at model homes, I'll sneak into their room and go on the computer.
Remy is a badass. Pfft.
Anyhoo, I made icons. The brush credits are on the above post. I loved the bases I found at ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) dearest (they're so pretty!) so I made some icons of Dir en Grey. Because, once again, Remy is bored. For those of you who do not know what Jacon (which took place in April) and Metrocon are, I'll explain.
They are anime conventions. If you still can't get an idea, think of a whole bunch of Japan crazy people in one place. Costumes, dealer rooms, events, game rooms, DDR competitions... The whole shebang. What can I say about Metrocon other than "OW. My feet"? A lot of things. Here are some highlights.
FRIDAY
@ I met Vic, the voice of Edward from Full Metal Alchemist.
@ I met a lot of Gravitation cosplayers (I was one myself, Ryuichi-sama! Yes. I cosplayed as a 31 year old man)
@ A bought an "I <3 Yaoi" shirt.
@ I bought Eerie Queerie volume one
Final Fantasy Ball (FFVII)
@ I learned the Waltz of the Moon from this cool pirate
@ I slow danced with a ninja
@ I went in the conga line with Wolfwood's cross
@ I changed out of my dress into jeans and took off my shoes (THANK THE LORD.)
@ I raved. Kind of =0
@ I heard the Numa Numa song <3
@ We sat in the chairs and said stupid things, like "Spepsi".
@ I watched people sing
@ I glomped a Tohma and the guy with the Kumagoro hat that I adore (I adore him and the hat)
@ I followed them looking for a Yuki, and when I stepped into a panel room, some girl saw me and said "YAOI FANGIRLS! WOOT! COME AND WATCH POKEMON WITH US!"
@ I glomped the Roy I had seen all day. I <3 him. But his costume cut my arm ;___; He carried me xD
Saturday
@ Anime Chess. FREAKING AWESOME. The Ed was hot xD
@ ANIME CHESS! <3 Funny.
@ We went to another FMA panel. Roy was there <3 I took a picture of him this time and glomped him again. I didn't get harmed this time. Did I mention that I love him? And that he's hawt <3
@ I glomped the Ed from the Anime Chess <3
@ We watched people play DDR some more.
@ I saw Vic again and took a picture of him. Then he told us Fullmetal Fantasy (his FMA fanfilm) will be playing at 3:30. We spoke a little more and then left to get good seats
@ I met some Azumanga Daioh cosplayers and took their picture
@ WE WATCHED FULLMETAL FANTASY. Vic did a great job. Props to him and the people that helped him with the film.
@ My feather boa -- the one that I had put on Wolfwood's cross, which Wolfwood took off the cross and set on a table -- was now on one of the monitors in the DJ place where all the lighting and computer crap for Metrocon was <3
@ We left to our hotel to eat (because I forgot to feed myself that morning ;__;) So all five of us sat down on a full sized bed with a portable DVD player for the car and watch the first two episodes of FMA. Ash was on the far right, Jesse was in the middle with Stevie on his lap, and I was next to them. Steph was kind of on the side because there was no more space. xDD And we ate Twix
@ We met Cheif-chan from Gaia! We hung out with her all night, even at the Matsuri dance
@ We played jump over the twirling rope of glowsticks for a good hour
@ We joined another conga line. I held on to this sticky guy's back. He was wearing a dress.
@ I TOOK OF MY GODFORSAKEN BOOTS.
@ We danced to the Numa Numa song again <3
@ I was walking out of the room where the rave took place and I heard the guy behind me say, "Holy Shit!" Pause. "My pants fell off!" I turned to look at him walk back in zipping up his pants.
@ I saw the guy who catched Ceres. I begged him to tell me what would happen to Chidori and Tooya. He simply hugged me when I told him I watched the DVD the night before and didn't answer me. Then I got Jesse to ask him. He looked up and saw me, flicked me off, and shook his head. PLEASE TELL ME! He wouldn't say a word.
@ So I watched the last DVD. AND CRIED MYSELF TO SLEEP.
Sunday
@ I still had forty bucks left =0 AMACHING!
@ We found Chief again and went looking for Micheal Jackson (a cosplayer) to return his hat.
@ Chief got the rest of her costume so she went to change into it. We helped her. It took a good half hour.
@ We watched the AMV competition. THE FLYING CAR. That was the best one. I can't wait until their site goes up <3 I want to watch it sooooo bad! Again. And then I'm going to give everyone the link so they can watch it.
@ We went to the costume contest
@ It took a long time to start so they played music and threw a beach ball into the crowd.
@ I ran up to the front where Ash, Jesse, and Stevie were and danced to "Cotton-Eyed Joe" with them <3
@ These guys behind us had a Momiji plushie and filmed the whole thing. Since we were on the film, he gave me his e-mail address so we could get the video if we wanted <3
@ There was another conga line! ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SIX PEOPLE! No sticky guy in dresses, though xD And instead of doing the conga, we jumped to the raving music.
@ Then they put on the conga music and the conga line died
@ People went on stage and danced to "Time Warp" which the FFVII cast danced to during the Ball. Jesse was up there. THEN THEY DANCED TO THE NUMA NUMA SONG!
@ The costime competition finally started <3
@ When it was over, we went looking for the Ed from the Anime Chess. Ash wanted to glomp him. She didn't find him so she left. I said by and was standing talking to Steph a minute after, and when I looked behind me I saw the Ed <3 I said, "H'OMG! IT'S YOU! Can I glomp you?" And so I did. And then, luckily, I found Ash and rubbed it in her face.
@ She then found him and glomped him.
@ After that I got food because I forgot to feed myself again. I was sitting on a ledge when I saw Ed and Roy pass by. I put down my pretzel and screamed, "ROY!" with my arms at from where I sat. Roy came over and gave me a hug <3 Then he said, "Ha!" to the Ed, who replied with "Nu-uh, she hugged me a few minutes ago."
@ Then I went home ;___;
Props to anyone who read that xDDD

My god I haven't updated. But summer is here and everything should be cool. And by the way, you'll have to deal with the Gravitation-ness of my blog for a while because my computer crashed and I have to use my brother's. ;____; No graphic making for me! +tear+
I had my sleepover. It's Jen's turn. We went to the mall. Invader Zim is playing on my brother's TV behind me.

And they got the new Newstype magazines in today! <3 I want to get it. I was going to, but I didn't have enough money. ;___; Sadness. And they had the Gravitation DVDs-------! I want volume one so freaking much. +dies+
Ahh! The collection is growing. I need to get a job at one of those...
Oh! I love that little corner of Hot Topic. It's slowly growing... the anime shirts. They have a new Trigun and FMA and Inuyasha and Kenshin and Samurai Champloo ones! The Samurai Camploo one was kawaii <3
I'm such a dork. I'm HISPANIC for god sakes. Why do I love Japanese culture so much?

JAcon was above and beyond awesome. I still need to upload the pictures, though :3 Oi, just thinking about it makes me go "squeeeee". We made crazy friends, we stalked people, AND WE MET TRAVIS. THE GUY THAT GOES ROY'S VOICE FROM FULL METAL ALCEMIST.
AND WE BOUGHT LOTS OF POCKY.
And they had these Do As Infinity CDs that I really wanted, but I didn't have enough money T___T. So I bought cat eyes and a bell to go around my neck instead ;D And Pocky, of course. And pins. And the cutest Momiji-chan hat in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD. I'm wearing it right this moment.
Oooh... JAcon was just plain awesome. And we met this guy that looked IDENTICAL to the guy he was cosplaying as. It was creepy o.o And we met another Ed (there were a lot of Eds there! And FFX characters! There was this really good looking Auron ;P And there were a lot of Mirokus) and took a bunch of pictures with him.
And the Wasabi Animusical! AWESOME. And they had Yoai there. I was going to buy some, but I bought my Momiji hat instead. I could go on and on. Maybe I will, when I post the pictures :3
And they had a Yoai PJ party! And a Bishounen Bash! We just sat on the floor in this big room and watched anime with subtitles. !!!!!!!!!! I could go on and on.
And then we woke up Sunday morning and what did we find? ANIME ON DEMAND! AND ADULT SWIM ON DEMAND!! Could my weekend get any better?
Only if... only if... I'd rather not say ;P

JACON IS IN TWO DAYS!
My costume is 99.9999% done. I just need to dye this mesh top and TADA! My original Gothic Lolita dress is done. And Ashley's Gothic Lolita Bride-gown-thing? Yeah, we worked on it all day after school. I just need to dye the skirt and we're set for JAcon! And her Miroku costume is almost done. Our friend Buddha is going as Buddha. We're going to get him one of those stickers that say, "Hello, My Name is _________" and we're going to put "Buddha" on it.
If anyone can tell me what show and episode that is from, you get a cookie xDDD
I have spent all of my time lately -- instead of working on my costume or homework -- making icons :3 So I thought I might share them here. There aren't that many :3

Mua ha ha :3 At last, Alex's blog is a' up and a' running. Yay for her for figuring everything out. Now she needs to get all of the credits up. +collapses+ And I need to do all of mt makeup work for school, and I need to read (because I want to, of course), and I need to type out my prose-type-thing, and I need to add more too Building a Mystery, and I need to... +trails off+
I need to do a lot of things.
But anyhoo, Alex is happy ;P See, her grandparents (a.k.a. the giver of books), picked me up today. So I dragged them over to the next town to go to a fabric store, which forgot moved. HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO BE READY FOR JACON!?!? I'm going to die. Anyhoo, so we were there, and the place was gone. And then I saw the Waldenbooks and asked them to take me there... sly little devil. I got away with a great deal: buy two get one free. GASPEH. So I quickly grabbed Red River 3 and 4, and then left to find Angel Sanctuary 4 and Fushigi Yugi 6.
Only problem? Two plue one plus one is FOUR. Not three.
So I kind of collapsed on the floor and stared at Fushigi Yugi and Angel Sanctuary. Which one should I get? Angel Sanctuary had ended on quite a cliffhanger previously, but Fishigi Yugi had ended in such a way that made me want to run away with the next volume right then in there. I screamed "TAMAHOME!" in the middle of the place, followed by "SARA!"
I just COULD NOT choose.
But finally, after I got to the cash register with the four books, I looked hard at Fushigi Yugi and said my goodbyes, just as Miaka had done... until the next time I force someone into taking me to Waldenbooks... Although, I must say, I terribly miss Nuriko. I need my daily dose of crossdressers!
JACON is in 4 days!!!!!!!!! OMYGEEEEEE.
